About Jim

Prior to forming Advanced Insurance Concepts, Jim Rooney worked in a variety of financial services and management positions.  Of significant note, Jim worked for several captive agencies, but felt they were too restrictive of what he could offer his clients.  If they were interested in Medicare for example, Jim only had Medicare Supplements from a single company and he was forbidden to find the lowest possible cost for them.  The same was true in the life insurance field.  Either Jim did not have access to the variety of insurance types, or the cost was often not competitive, and he just did not feel right about steering a prospect to a policy he knew was not the best he could get.

Jim Rooney started his own firm to allow him the freedom to choose the best approaches to each client’s individual needs.  Currently Jim is appointed with over 25 insurance companies and all Medicare Advantage providers in the states of Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas.  Additionally, he is licensed to sell Health, Life and Accident Insurance as well as Securities.

Jim's personal passion is providing his clients with the peace of mind in knowing that he has provided the best possible solution for your individual needs.  In particular, the areas of Medicare, Long Term Care, Burial Insurance, Tax-Free Retirement, and Mortgage Protection solutions are Jim's main areas of focus.

Jim's sales approach is exceptionally low pressure and he focuses instead on educating his prospective clients in the approaches for their needs.  When they see that he can offer them the best possible value for their solution, he does not need to apply pressure.
